Funny squeal noise

I have a 97 Sonoma that I recently put a 3" spindle lift in, had the camber and alignment all done. But when I go over large speed bumps I get a loud squeal from the front end almost as if the suspension doesn't have enough drop out. I'm thinking maybe the shocks because they are stock but are new shocks necessary with just a spindle lift?
