Tire/Wheel questions for 99 Silverado w/ 10" of lift

I've got a 99 Silverado 1500 w/ a 6" suspension lift and 4" body lift. The truck currently had 35's mounted on 16" wheels on it, which look like Honda Civic tires with the amount of clearance I have, so I'm looking to go with a set of 38's on 18s.

I have a few questions:

A) Is the additional weight going to be too much for the brakes? I'm using performance rotors/pads, but I'm thinking I may need to start considering a 4 piston kit.
B) Looking at a set of ProComps w/ 4.5" backspace, would that do the trick?
C) I'm thinking 38x13.5 for the tires, but the 38x15's are actually better rated, would that extra 1.5" fit?

Here are some pics of the truck w/ 35's: Truck - Imgur
