You are not the only one they stole the deck amp and speakers out of my little truck. Stole the fish finder out of the boat and the boat had the cover on it. Someone cut the right front break line on my big chevy so dude it is all around.

Hey Azo,
That's a bit frustrating for sure and by all means vent, I'd
be really Pissed-Off and guess you are too! Some people just don't seem to have any respect for others property!
Hope things get better.
Hey Snowman,
I hope you reported the brake line to the police and insurance company as that could easily be considered attempted murder or assualt at least! Hope you found it before something serious happened, it would get considerable
freaky to try to put the brakes on and not have any!!

David you hit that one right on the head. I put it in a ditch it had 12" lift and 38" tires that would have to be the scarest ride I ever had. I reported it to everybody but the police took pics and that was it. Still never figured out who did it.

Speaking of theft, not much happens here in our little college town. But lights seem to get stolen alot. Do you guys have any tips as to how to keep theifs from getting my offroad lights off?

We have the same problem I take and put a tack weld on the stud to the nut Not very much but it will lock it and if you ever have to take them off take a dremel tool and cut the tack loose and take the nut off. It really works but just tack it. It will lock it and people will not spend more that a couple of mins trying to get stuff so there you go.

If light mounting stud is long enough use two nuts one to tighten light and the other as a "jam nut" with Locktite 242 "red" thread locker on both. Then it takes a slight gorilla wrenching with tools or not so much gorilla if you wave a propane torch breifly on them to release the locktite. Added bonus lights stay aimed much longer on the trail. Another "keep my stuff" trick is if you have a alarm, run a wire from the "normally closed" circuit looping it in and out of each off-road light assembly with a knot tied inside each light bucket. Reassemble and you have a theft deterrent and a screaming alarm if the first deterrent fail to get the perp's attention.
