I'm thinking about using a Scout II rear axle, and a narrowed Cherokee wide track front axle for my CJ5. I've seen lots of posts on wider axles. I would go SUA. I'm wondering about the pinion angles front and rear with a 4" spring lift. I've got the axles. I've measured the wheel mount to wheel mount of both axles. The rear Scout II is about 59 1/2". The Cherokee wide track measures about 65 1/2" with the Ford brake rotor / hub assemblies installed. I figured I could cut the long side of the Cherokee wide track about 4" and get 61 1/2". Any comments, similar experiences?
