Default For Sale - 1987 Suzuki Samurai 1.6L

I've finally given up on my Samurai, because I don't have time to work on it and I don't have time to take it off-road. I also need to drive 120 miles a day and the Samurai isn't a comfortable daily driver, so I bought an 1994 Isuzu Amigo.

For Sale:
-1987 Suzuki Samurai JX Soft Top - Silver (with rust)
-155,000 original miles (1.6L engine put in when odometer read 148,000)
-1995 Tracker engine (1.6L 8 valve) installed Oct. 2000 with 46,000 miles on it
-New engine mounts and tranny mount
-New heavy duty clutch, flywheel, pilot and throw-out bearings from Asian Auto Parts
-Weber carb. with performance air cleaner (still have the original carb and accessories)
-Thorley header
-G.R.S. 1 transfer case
-3" National springs
-Calmini extended shackles
-Poly spring bushings
-4" drop pitman
-extra heater core
-Suzuki shop manual
-5 15"x8" American Racing wheels with 31" tires (tires in bad shape, stockers on vehicle now)
-2 new stock size tires
-New ujoints
-Electric fan
-Doors modified for removal

Now for the bad news:
-Needs 2 front tires
-Needs new front lug studs (one on each front wheel is stripped)
-Needs a new exhaust system from the header back
-Master brake cylinder leaks
-Driver side door is dented
-Softtop is developing holes
-No radio

The engine is strong and I can do 65MPH up hill in 5th gear (with white knuckles gripping the wheel).
I live in Hanover, PA, which is about 1 hour southwest of Harrisburg.
I want to sell it as is.
Email me at shawnshifflett@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Thanks,
Shawn

Here are a few pictures.
I'm asking $1800 because of all of the modifications and the engine, but I'm willing to negotiate.

Thanks,
Shawn

That's a little too rich for my blood right now. I have most of my spare cash tied up in some investments. How much do you want for just the engine and adaptor plate? I can some up and help yank it. I'm in Annapolis.

Hanover is about 1 hour southwest of Harrisburg, about 13 miles away from the Mason-Dixon line.
I'd think $600 for the engine and adapter is fair. The adapter is from Trail Tough.
I can't decide if I'm ready to part it out yet. I'm going to park it and put a for sale sign in the window.
I'd like to sell it whole.

Thanks,
Shawn

how much for the Thorley header and the Weber carb with air cleaner? You will probly get more $$ if you part it out!

Well, if you were to part it out, how much for the GRS1 t-case and springs? CJ7JeepOffRoad is right, you could probably make more off it by parting it out.

better watch these guys, all of them telling you to part out so they can get what they want, hehehh but then again, they're right,
600 for engine
400 for t/case
250 header/carb
that's 1250.,, the price someone will try to negotiate you down too, plus you have other stuff you could sell for more. But then again do you feel like yanking all that $hit off to sell, gotta take that time into consideration. Marc
