Looks real nice, but why the hood scoop?
Aren't you concerned about water coming in through it and getting on the distributor? Or do you not really drive through any water on your trail adventures? Not meant to be a criticism, just a question. But I really like how the whole thing looks.

Thanks for the compliments . The 16 valve engine kept hitting the top of the hood and leaving a dent. (and yes I did cut out the crossmember in the hood ). I tried banging them back and lowered the engine a bit but as soon as I hit a bump on the road it pops back up . So I decided to finish it by banging it out some and give me some clearance but I couldn't stand to see a huge bump on the hood . I was on the net looking for a new hood when I saw a hood scoup on ebay pretty cheap ,$10 or something, bought it put it on , took some pics and asked some opinions and the majority liked it . Yes they are stock springs.
