I have a few more... I wish I got some of all the awesome folks I met. I will hopefully see you all again! Thanks so much to everyone. This was a life changing event for the better. I spent well over a thousand dollars in gas but I couldn't have spent that much for therapy and gotten the positive results I did. Never in all my life have I experienced greater people than on this trip.

I think I am going to turn a deaf ear to all the nay-sayers about this site. Nowhere else on the internet did I mention I was traveling. People came out of lurking to wish me well and call me. I feel bad I did not get to meet you all. Had I had a smoother trip mechanically I would have had more time to stop.

I think I created a few lasting friendships in these past 8 days. Some of these people got to see me in a variety of forms... from happy to panic stricken nervous and all they offered were their best sides. Tell me where a group of people can come together like that... and over what, a brand of vehicle? No, it is much more than that.

I owe a lot to this site, more than sloppy shifter fixes or the bacon mod. Seriously I met some of the best slices of society. If anyone has a problem with this place and all it's personalities and its constant change, it is their own. If you need to figure out why this place is great go for a five thousand mile road trip in a clunker to pick up 600 pounds of Japanese steel and some canadian ice, salt, and rust.

I can't think of any better people that I want to know. I can't wait for my next South-West-North roady. I just need a tune-up and a tranny! (Brad... you gotta couch? How about you Bedford boys??? Any other takers? )

I need a nap... I have some more pics I want to post... give me time people!!!

You hit the nail on the head Brent. Lots of "brotherhood" in this community. Lots of us would go out of our way to help anyone on this board. I'm hoping to make a trek this summer, I hope it goes as good as yours did.

You damn skippy!! Anytime you wanna head this way, I got you covered. I got 2 extra bedrooms, more than enough room for trucks & trailers, and 2 30'x40' shops. Not to mention all the crazy people I call my friends. We got wheelin' within 10 mins and can ride all day. Usually have a pretty mean cookout on the weekends too.

Brad.

Gee Brent you didn't have to drive all that way to find the above out.I could have told ya and saved you the $$$$

It's one of the reasons I still hang out here and with Zuk folks.

As for road trips, in 1992 I hopped on my motorcycle (alone) and headed to the bottom of the other coast, drove up the coast North and came back home. 11,000 miles in 17 days and I MET TONS of the nicest folks. I never spent ONE night alone at any of the campsites I stayed at and was fed, liquified and entertained every night. (there is the night I was invited by a BUS load of female kayakers for supper and breakfast and a little company.....:All Good

My thinking is there are good people everywhere and we either attract them by our openess or repel by our .

A smile and "hello" go a long way to make a good first impression... and maybe even a friendship.

I'm done.

PS. and if you have Canadian every one wants to be your new friend!

Brad too bad you're so far from Bahelia MS! I'm headed there mid-April to visit my wifes BioMom...
Of course I would have to go wheeling without my BS since my wife would have removed them !!!!

Here's a LWB... It is Sean's. He bobbed the bed and has a slew of goodies. Ironically he had no reduction with those meats hopefully the 410 case helps a bit.

Another Canadian rig from Kevin of Canada. He's 18 years old and done a great job fabbing this rig. Also a ton of goodies and he built it himself. I wish at 18 I had his ability. I can only imagine what he comes up with by the time he reaches my age in 10 years.

Brent,
ANYTIME you wanna come to Indiana for a little R&R, your more than welcome here. The Bedford Boys would be honored to have ya. I know that myself, Smitty808, or Figgy always have a empty couch (or floor) with sleeping bags for a night. And that goes for anyone else as well!
If you all are planning on going to the Melt, look us up. We'll be hanging with Murph, Ray..EH(RgdL), and a bunch of the rest of the crazy extended family. Stop by and have a with us!
