| | Re: Any intrest in a Bolt On drop down Tail Gate Kit? I like it because it gives me room to put half of a moose cut into quarters in there--With the gate open.
It also gives me a dry place to sleep while hunting. |

| | Re: Any intrest in a Bolt On drop down Tail Gate Kit? It is so short that the factory latch works great.
I am not planning on adding another latch.
If a person didn't trust that, then he could put a thumb bolt on the other side. |

| | Re: Any intrest in a Bolt On drop down Tail Gate Kit? The great thing about the way AkChris is building them, is, It is reversible. Everything is bolt-on. Just have to drill a few holes. |

| | Re: Any intrest in a Bolt On drop down Tail Gate Kit? C'mon Pauly.........we know what a 31" spare does to a tailgate and I'm sure you weigh more than that. |

| | Re: Any intrest in a Bolt On drop down Tail Gate Kit? A 31 rips it from the hinges, doesn't bend them. I've never tired sitting on a gate. And yes, I do weigh a bit more than a 31 inch tire - a little bit more...
Someone needs to incorporate one of those old stationwagon hinges that would allow the gate to open either way. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
