Lucky them I have nobody local who competes with me and my projects [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I need to get jumpstarted back on it now that funds provide me to. Nice lookin tho wildweasel, what axle are you upgrading to? Changing the rear axle or stickin with the kickin?

Saweeet Im stoked to see another persons trial and error in doing a SAS. I too am getting close to figuring out what I am going to do. THinking of pulling the Calmini and going with a SAS. HAve the parts to do it just a matter of doing it......

Here's todays work, Finished cutting the crossmembers and mounts off, slid the toyota truck axle under it, and mounted the torsen arms. First problem, the arms where directly under the frame! only about 1-2" of up travel. HMMM so I am out boarding the Johnny joint ends of the torsen bars. They arms sit outside the frame and after trimming the front of the body mounts it will twist up to within 4" of the frame where
the springs are going. I am using stock rears all the way around..

Here is an over all of the pass side. I smacked my head into the drivers fender and will likely end up with 2 black eyes.. [img]images/graemlins/thud.gif[/img] (I was cutting a mount, and pushing on the sawzall HARD
and it cut through. )

Toy axles front and back, ARB in the back, loc-rite in front till I can afford another arb, dual tcase (tracker into sami GRS2) with the automatic trans and stock 4.10 gears in the
toyota I will be in the 260-1 range in low low 1st.. [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
I am on vacation so as long as I don't hurt myself I will be posting updates daily.
