| |  Head gasket Qustion?
Getting ready to put my new head on the block and noticed that one hole in the gasket doesen't line up very well.
it's the one on the left side up front next ot the water pump. , a large round hole that looks like a oil return hole.. the hole in the gasket is much smaller then the hole it sits over and it barely covers an edge of the hole. see att! should I open the hole in the gasket up some? |

That is real common with those , it's no big deal , just go ahead and use it like that or open it up . Just make sure to cut it open real clean , so it can't start a tear....
