just my opinion , but if it is a tin top I'd leave it a tin top. But thats up to you.
I think some of the tin tops can be removed, although I may be wrong. I had one many moons and thought you could remove it with some screws.
I'm sure they do make a roll cage for it, or at least someone can I'm sure.

Some one posted a note about putting the role cage out of a rag top in the tin top. I'm going to try it soon myself. I was told that if you get a comealong and put it on the lower legs and tighten it up a bit it will go right in ~ Remove the seats first! I would keep the Tin Top as a Tin to my self!!

Just my $.02, but I would leave the top alone. Tin tops are getting scarce considering they stopped shipping them here in '87. As far as a roll cage goes Dave Sport is the only vendor that I know of that makes one exclusively for the tin top.

Stopped shipping em in 87?

I am currently looking at 2 tin tops locally, both 88.5's...

PLEASE don't chop it, if you want a convertible find one, they are WAY more of them around.
