Default PTO on a Tracker?

Is it possible to somehow rig up a front mount pto on my 94 Tracker? My dad is buying it from me to use around the farm, and we were thinking that it would be awesome if we could somehow have a pto to run a grain auger from. Even if it was out the rear that would be fine. Has anyone ever attempted something like this?

the only thought i would have would be a hydrolic drive pto it would probably require a v belt driven pump and i dont know if it would have the space (i doubt the power steering pumps would be up to the task)or maybe somthing could be rigged up off a vebelt and a hand controled tentioner like the old rototillers

TracKick platform was never set up for PTO.

Samurai/SJ platform was although you can't get the parts in North America.

So, short answer is you are SOL.

i have seen some where where they took a york compressor mounted in side the cab and mounted a pully the drive shaft from the motor to the t/case so if they wanted to use the air they could put it in neutral and let the motor idle. they did not say anything about this but i think it would only work for off-raod because highway speeds would be to much for the compressor and it would be in the passenger side floor i guess

so i guess you could do this with a pto pump from notherntool.com if you did not want to put it up front

OK So what you guys are suggesting with the hydraulic pump, is to mount a pump on the engine to run off the belts, and then mount another on the front or rear of the Tracker using the hydraulic power from the engine mounted to run the one on the front... I get it, and I think it would be easy enough to do! Thanks for the help, I don't know why I didn't think of hydraulics!

I dunno about that belt drive hydraulic system. Is it possible to have a 40HP belt driven hydraulic system? Seems the smaller hydro pumps would not have enough oomph/GPH @ a certian psi to work well?

only one

something like this

at the motor this is only the pump part you need the thing that turns from the flow

you should need a tank for the fluid, if you want to go forward and reverse you would need control valve like whats on a log spliter

i could not find the head unit sorry
remember it would run around 3600 rpm over 4000 and you would burn up the pump and bearings

What if you put a sami t/c behind the tracker t/c, and ran the pto off of the tracker front output?
