Need ideas for air cleaner

Used to have conventional snorkal routed up side of cage.
Its now just a higher filter with a baffle and coffee can to keep out splash, more worried about continualy blinding cone filter with mud rather than drowning enjine, I now keep water line below bonnet,,, oops hood.
As I compete under the MSA (Motor sport assosiation) regulations I cant have an air inlet within the cab area, they are worried about flame blow back or fuel leakage in to the cab durring upside downs. As the carb is now physicaly higher above the engine the carb inlet touch's the hood so I could no longer route sideways to seperate air box, hence fitting of cone filter directly to top of carb.
Big advantage is not having to fetch the old snorkle top out of trees.
