I also have a 89 I bought back in the winter. It has a
sun mini tach (lighted) and it is mounted left of the steering wheel above the square vent. The dash runs at a downward angle there and the bolts are bolted to the right toward the steering wheel. works great. I would have never have thought of this place and the way it was mounted. wheere angle part of the dash slopes down there is a little wall that the bolts are bolted in. Hope this doesn't confuse you. Didn't know how to explain this very well. good luck, the tach at advance auto parts is about $40.00

Oil Press, Temp, Vaccum, Amp, Volts..

I duno I have them all so I put em in.. no idea why I bought a vacuum gauge but it's a fun thing to watch.
