Anyone else have pictures of dash mounted gauges?

freebird - I noticed you removed the dash, how hard do you think the install would be with the dash left in? What brand are yours?

they would be a pain to wire....you need to get behind them to put on the mount brackets. other then that they were easy...it only takes about 20 minutes to pull the dash enough to get behind there....do do this you need to pull it anyway to remove the ducts. it comes out as one piece...they really dont serve any purpose anyway.... ill snap a pic of the back later today for you

Jason, Yep it comes right out after you twist/bend the wire tabs. I was thinking of using smaller, less obcious hinges than a piano hinge. It's one of those projects that just stalled. I have a spare dash to play with. If I come up with anything interesting, I'll pass it along....

Mine are mounted above the glavebox door to the left of the vent(square). They fit fairly tight without the hold downs from the factory so changing bulbs or messing with the wiring is easy and don't have to pull glovebox and hoo d latch and all the other stuff to get to this area. It also works with the duct work in so all the side vents and defrosters work as designed.
