Default rims and tires

i just bought a 87 samurai, i used to be a international scout fanatic, I sold that baby and got the suzuki. i have alot of questions, first what size tire to use with 15x8 rims. everything is stock now. it has 2 different sizes on the 15x7 rims now 215 60 and 245 60 it is 4x4 so i need to have all 4 the same size. i am planning on making a 1 and a half inch body lift soon, but there is no apparent rubbing now, but i havent taken it to the extreme off road.

should i stay with 15x7 (only 3 match right now) or should i go with the 15x8 (i have a set from my old scout)

The optimal width tire for an 8" wheel on the Zuk is a 12.5. We usually run 33x12.5s on 8" wheels for customers. For a 7" wheel an 11.5" wide tires works great.

Yeah Glenn, but you're talking about wheels with 2" backspacing right? 32x11.50's on 15x7s with stock backspacing rub the springs while turning. I run 31x10.50's on stock backspaced 15x7's with no trouble.
