I have seen 31 x 10.50's on stock rims (15 x 5.5) but it didn't look safe to me. I ran 235/75's on stock rims with no problems. A friend of mine ran 30 x 9.50's on stock rims for a couple of years with no problems.

I know a guy that ran 31x10.5's and dropped them to 5psi when wheeling. Worked fine. The problem you will have, especially if you get any kind of aggressive tread, is the tires will rub the springs when you turn. I run 31x10.5 mud's on 15x7's and have no rubbing. HTH.

I have 30x9.50's on one of my Zuks, mounted on reversed stock wheels. I've seen 32x9.50 Swampers on stock wheels, but they were also reversed.

Inturder , what is the back spacing on your 15x7 wheels ?

And CSR how far out does the tyre stick with a 30x9.5 on a reversed rim stick from the body ? Saves me buying a tyre to find out .

Thanks Monty again .

Backspace is stock, 3-1/2 inches I think.

The tire sticks out past the fender flare about 1"/1.5". The older style wagon wheels are the ones I have. I don't think you can reverse the later style with the round holes.
