Default transfer case help

Does anyone know the size of the ball under the switch that turns on the 4wd light.(next to the shifter hole) I hadf to replace a couple of bearings and lost it in the process. Will it hurt anything to run with out one?
Thanks
Jimmy

You should be okay without it. I would just plug the hole with a small bolt, or with the 4wd switch.. that is if you don't care about the 4wd light being on while in 4wd.
