Yep~ I was at the DMV today getting temp tags for my new 87 Tin Top and was Kidding with the Girl behind the counter about moving to Columbus to get away from E Check here in Clark Co. when she said it wouldn't do any good as it was on it's way to Franklin Co. Thought I would give all you Zukers in Franklin Co a heads up!! |

I live in VA and they are natzi here. In norther VA where I live, emissions testing is mandatory, But NOT in the rest of the state. WHat the hell is that all about.
Get a PO box somewhere else(another state) and register your zuki there. Some of the guys I know who live here in Norther VA register their vehilces in another county in the state, just one that doesnt emissions test. [img]images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] |

howdy,
i know what you mean. every febuary i get to put on my carthearts, gloves, and ski mask. thendrive my no soft top sammi to the E-check. then step out when i get there and tune the weber in with the air/fuel mixture guage, as the E-check monsters watch me. then drive up and fork out $19.95. they then test it and bam it passes. then i pull out and retune the weber in with the air/fuel mixture guage, as the E-check monsters watch me. and one of these little monster always says "you know that defeets the purpose of the E-check!" and i reply "no it doesn't." they they reply "and why is that?". and i reply "because you got your $20!" | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes |  Linear Mode |
