Which wire would connect to the relay to activate the relay?
I'm pretty confused about the positive ground.....

How about using one of those H/D H-4 conversion wiring harnesses, like from APC or PIAA? They are heavy wired with relays built-in. Plug and play?

Tim, I could go that route, but want to save some cash. I don't know what the one's you mentioned run, but the Painless harness runs about $77 plus shipping...

So far, I'm into this about $20....not too shabby if I can figure this wiring out. I'm really lost....I have a difficult enough time figuring the usual sparky stuff, not I have to think backwards.....

I'll look at mine tomorrow , maybe even wire it up . I did notice that the new bulbs in the IPF lenses look a little dim , that relay setup may help a lot . As far as I remember , should just be a straight up job , since the lights are controlled by a simple relay from the switch .

OK....Santa came early (thanks Pug!) and I was gifted with the Painless harness. Man, what a difference!

When I get some time and the weather clears, I'll disect the harness to get the skinny on the wiring. If it's doable with off the shelf parts, this mod is a must have....
