You can fit a 48" hi-lift behind the rear seat up against the tailgate. For a short time I had mine mounted using a U shaped bracket on the drivers side (near the latch mechanism) and a bolt on the passenger side. I don't have any pictures of this setup though, but the main jack assembly goes as low as possible to the base with the base towards the drivers side.

how do you guys get those hi lifts to fit in therE??!? i dont know off the top of my head how long my shotgun is, but it wont fit sideways! at least not flat!

just measured it 50"
