understand what your saying, but what length shocks you gonna run? once you get em at so much of a angle, they dont work no way near as well as they used to. think i was told 45 degrees a while back. could be wrong. thats the only thing i would worry bout. with that v6 going in it later, you will need the larger tank. might think about doing a install of the tank, then, maybe angling the shocks toward the front or back and mountin em to the frame. kinda like on a pickup. build upper mounts off frame instead of movin the upper mounts toward the center, move em toward front or rear. know what i mean?
just a thought.

I follow. I'll have to consider that next time I'm out there doing measurements.

The few buggy leafs I've seen have all used springs between 20-23" in length, how long are yours?

dont know how long they are man. never measured. took rear springs off samurai, using them. cut them about 3 inches out from the center bolt(keeping center bolt) using the longer half of the spring for the goofy leaf.
