Default 300 hp wrx?

just got a wrx turbo and the dealer said if i opened up the waistgate it would turn out an honest 300hp. he said its only running 8 pounds of boost and it could run almost twice that!! anybody know how to do this?

Try searching "subaru webring" as your keyword, you'll find message boards of your kind, like WRX for example.

i think i want a WRX now!!!
i wonder where i can come up with $25,000?? i think i have some old parts in the garage, then there is that extra VCR, my extra computer. hmmm.. extra stereo, school books, old matresses, old DOS video games, maybe that is enough to get one? LOL

I know what you mean, Tom. I wonder if we will get the STi version in the states next? Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. It seems that in the past, Japan and Europe got the turbo'ed, all-wheel-drive, high-performance versions, while we got the blah *yawn* versions. I heard Mitsubishi is considering bringing the Evo VII here! WooHooo!

there trick cars..i talked to a kid a week ago he had one he said he got in toned and its pushin almost 400hp but he said its at about 12pds of boost..dont know if he was bull$hitin me but there sweet cars tho
