Default WRX

Does anybody have any info on the WRX? Also, I'm very interested in a commuter Subaru. Should I go for and 80's wagon or a brat? What is the best for the money (something cheap)?

WRX is Subaru's new Rally-type car I believe. Check it out www.imprezawrx.com . I thought people on this board might know a better place for info besides Subaru's. Thx tomklipp. My parents sold our 80 Subaru for something like $995, which was a steal for whoever bought it. I'm sure they're a lot cheaper now too.

The wrx has 227hp and is very fun to drive. I own a 2.5RS and it's a great car. My friend has the wrx it's 2.0 with turbo. Plenty fast and very easy to slide the rear end out controllably. It costs about 26k for the wrx but it's worth the cash if you have it.

26K may sound like a lot for a small car but it easily runs with cars costing twice as much.(S2000, Boxster, S4...)

There are only two variants of the WRX in the U.S. right now, the sedan and the wagon. I imagine the sedan(lighter) with a 5-speed would be the quickest one.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, did you look at the date of the original post? I'm sure whatever he did, he probably did a long time ago. But by the looks of the dates on the posts on this board, you all got lost during the change over. Thats to bad.
