Default Are Bratts all wheel drive ot 4 wheel drive.

Hi guys, Nathan from the Toy and sandrail boards. I just got my hands on bratt suspenion with 4 wheel disc brakes. I plan on building a 4 wheel drive rear engined sandrail. I plan on flipping the rearend over and installing it in teh front and flopping the tranny over for rear engined use. DO bratts have a manual tranfer case or a alltime trandfer case? Any idea on the gearing in the diffs? And what is the biggest and most reliable Bratt engine to look for?

Nathan

Who needs foot brakes, when there is WOT and steer brakes.

how did you find one with 4 wheel discs?. my '85 had drums in the rear. they are front wheel drive until you pull up on the transfer case shifter, then they are 4wd. it even had a lsd in the rear and low range.

Yo Nathan!
Manual shift on the fly 4WD dual range(hi/lo) the older ones have a single range.
Tom: It can be converted to 4Wheel disc brake from a different model donors.
