I have a 2003 Outback that needs a new set of tires. I got it used with Bridgestone Potenza P225/60 R16s. My driving is daily 22 miles for work, 14 of that highway. I am counting on AWD for ski days, so snow capability is definately one of the factors. Also the occasional 800 mile trip to visit relatives, so driving comfort/noise is also a consideration.
Anyone have comments on their experience?

Oh well I'm still here but I cannot guarantee you that I will be a big help (where are those moderators anyway?)... You can try BFGoodrich, Michellin, and Yokohama tires...

A couple of months ago I bought a set of Yokohama AVID Touring tires from Track Rack. Our 97 Outback has 125K miles and my wife says it drives like new. I am happy with the rain and snow traction.

Actually the tires you should choose depends on style of your driving... But the best thing your can choose now as for me is General Altimax Arctic. This tire takes the first places in many comparative tests.
