i think we are on the same wavelength here, it was just that your post came off a little strong, so i was sticking up for the board, even though nobody really uses it. i wan't trying to put you down or anything like that. i just wondered why (now i understand) you seemed to be against this board. for a second there i thought we were going to need ol' mils lane to officiate. as he says "now let's get it on" just kidding. also in case you haven't noticed (and i forget) the markup doesn't work. so i give it a [smile] but no happy face.

THE USFS has extended the Public Comment period on their proposed plan...

Sorry for the slightly off-topic post, but it affects you guys too... Sorry if this has been posted already...

The United States Forest Service has extended the public comment period for the National Forest Management Act Proposed Rule until February 10, 2000... Please don't put this off, ignoring it is certainly not a good option... Inactivity is a very bad thing when it comes to this issue...

Come on everybody, get the letters flowing... If you want a letter you can modify, check out the Land Use General board, and look at the thread titled: " USFS Proposed Mgmt Plan-1 day till deadline "... Remember we have until February 10, 2000 for our comments, so let's get going!!! I can't state enough, how urgent this is!!!
