timing belt woes I recently broke my driver side timing belt, and then tried to fix it. my chiltons was wrong and told me to point both mards up, apparently one goes down and one goes up. i think i fixed that, but when i was trying to find out what was wrong i pulled out my distributor. i cant start it now, even though everything appears to be ok. its a 85 1.8 gl. has anyone ever bent valves even though this is a non interference motor? oh yeah, everybody tells me im 180 off, but it all looks right to me |
