| | Re: Serious dune Banshee I have it all put back together, the new reeds are alot stronger then the old ones. It runs good up to 3/4 throttle now. I'm waiting for 230 and 220 mains right now, there on order. I have 240 mains, and with this warm weather it is dead rich wide open throttle. The directions on the reed instalation instructions said this also. I slid the clip all the way back up to the top, but it's still to rich, now I can only wait for the mains, it runs like a champ everywhere else though. I called my local mechanic and parts guy, he's trying to find a vendor that has tr6 pipes that aren't on backorder. I want something that makes a bit more peak power then my dg's, and obviously something that works better. The cpi's would be the pipes to get If I strictly duned it. But I need something like what I have now, with more top, and I HAVE to have spark arrestors. They are really picky about that here in mich. So it's either tr6 or fatties. I figured with the tr6's I'd get what I pay for?
Not sure if they work well with ported motors, they should I'd think. I need to get someone from toomey on the phone or e'mail them. Price really isn't an issue, but I'm not gonna go way overboard either yet.
(edit) are you ticked off at me?
It should be all good to go now, after I get the mains. There mikuni tm flat slides. Running 2 galons of 110 octane sonoco, mixed with 3 gallons of 92 octane pump gas, mixed with golded spectro 50-1. According to the plugg check, and wot symptoms it's just rich jetting. I checked everything else out, and it's good to go.
Any other insight, the honda boys over there hate banshee owners |

| | Re: Serious dune Banshee Did you talk to power pro's about pipes? They make a chrome mx pipe with hush silencers for $460.00. Call them and ask about arrestors, I would make some just to run these pipes. Call them and tell them what you want, they can make a pipe if they have to. www.thepowerpros.com |

| | Re: Serious dune Banshee Thanks, are you running them? And are they made out of stainless?
Tried the leaner jetts, still cutting out at high rpm. I have to get this figured out first. Trying to think of what the problem could be. According to the plugg check it's still rich. |
