| | Re: Serious dune Banshee So what do you say audi, fmf fatties,or play the waiting game for the new tr6's?
That clarke tank requires you to chop your plastic up front. I don't know if I want that thing or not now. They make some pretty trick aluminum tanks too I see. What would you suggest?
And on the fenders, Maier, stock or fullbore? I like the cut fullbores, but was told by someone on another forum that they are not compatible with aftermarket tanks. I kinda like the way the 96 orange and yellow banshee's looked, otherwise I'm gonna stick with red and white.
Yota, keep checking the paper's, there's bound to be one sooner or later.
I think that motor has a lot more done to it then I know, it really does scream like a mofo. On the low-end side, I can idle around a corner in forth and roll on the throttle and it takes right off again. It has a huge mid hit, it's either wheelying, or spinning the tires like a top fuel dragster. |

| | Re: Serious dune Banshee word on the street is the tr6's hit today! What kind or ridin do ya do? Why do you want a bigger tank. Im a fan of oem or UFO plastics myself. Ever thought of the motofast 2 into 1 pipe? If your a trail rider! I put one on my stepmoms bike, It was just as fast as my old JD Banshee. The thing hauled. So much torque, so much just throttle there anytime you want it! |

| | Re: Serious dune Banshee I heard they give you more low-end but stiffle the top. I want some decent if not better low-end then I have now. But I DO NOT want to loose any top. So do fatties offer some low, and a strong mid and top. I like a lot of topend out of 2 strokes. I still have my cr125, I love riding that thing. It screams up top. I put a fmf fatty pipe, and a gold series silencer on it, and it gave it more power everywhere. That's what I want out of the banshee. That's why I wanted to know how the dg's stack up to the fatties and others. And if the tr6 is like the tr5 it won't have the low to mid the fatty does, just more mid and top. So how did the shee's with fatties run, that you have rode?
Those big flat slides inhale gas. After an hour and a half I was down to a half a tank. I need to be able to travel 50 miles for the loops I ride on. I'm gonna keep the stock white stuff I have now. I'll put that on if I race, or ride in crap(mud). I want some trick looking cut fenders, that's why I was looking at maier and fullbore. Any input on the fenders and tank? |

| | Re: Serious dune Banshee Fatties ought to do it. Haven't ridden one buy I have seen some and they go all right. You would probably need a bigger tank too. I would run that tank you talked about earlier. The one in the back of dirtwheels. I think stock type fender or ufo look the best. I never really like maeir's lines or dullness. |
