Willywanter, you have good taste in trucks! Besides my 2 gt's my other truck is the monster blazer. I use an airtronics m8 radio I just bought about a month ago. It's pretty awesome, but it does suck batteries. Cody, I am thinking you would still be better off getting the gt for now. While it won't go over the really big stuff like the blazer, it is still awesome what it will do. As far as hill climbing, it is just great. It's a super fast truck, even with the stock .15 motor. And I was surprised how I could stop on the side of a BIG hill (say like up the side of a freeway on ramp), and then start again, and even climb up them slowly. I also sometimes jump over bumper blocks in parking lots (you know those concrete pieces in front of the parking stalls) and it climbs those really well. Thats pretty impressive since they are taller than than wheels on the truck. I have never used that kyosho truck that you sent the link too, but Kyosho is kinda known for low end trucks, except for the inferno, mp6, and mp7.5. For some reason they are the absolute top of the line. And I understand they make some good street cars, however I don't play with street stuff yet. The blazer, while awesome I don't think is quite as tuff as my gt, and the instructions arent so good, and its hard to get parts, and it will really cost you a lot more than the gt.

Well, my GT is basically stock except fot eh Robinsons Steel Spur Gear and Robinsons Heavy Duty clutch bell. Umm, and I was running a HPI .15 motor which gave lots of power and ran great, but take it from me, use your air cleaner. Mine bit the dust, literally. Anyway, I will be soon getting the New Era .21 conversion chassis. And a Ofna p8 or Rossi. With the gearing I have my truck hauls azz. I take it out to the housing tracks which were just cut out of the dirt and there are like 12" 45 degree banks to jump off of. I get full speed on tose and get at least 7 feet in the air and 15-20 feet of length. And lands beautifully. This truck is damn near unbreakable.

I still say that the T-Maxx is a great truck for bashing. There are so many hop ups that if you were to break anything (and I dont think you will) you could just upgrade that part instead of replacing. Plus it has big tires and lots of ground clearince. check out www.maxxtraxx.com

Cody, I don't know if you know about it yet but you can find information on any truck on http://www.rcmt.net. Go to the message board page and just scroll down and check out diff. boards. See what you like and what you don't.

Ok, guess I'll stop making suggestions. I know how hard it is to pick. Anyway, the two I would be considering would be the Monster Blazer and the RC10GT. Just remember, if you like climbing dirt mounds and hills and rocks bigger than 1" you should get the monster. The GT is not much of a off roader. Just flat dirt lots and jumps and such.

Go ahead and make suggestions, it's kewl... I think I would be happier with a monster truck since i like crawling and so forth, but i also want one that will haul ass and stuff. Its to bad the RC10GT didn't have a lift or more clearance or I would own one right now : )

Ok, from all our ramblings I have to say that I think that you want a monster and would be better off with a monster. My first real R/C was the GT and I broke quite a few parts trying to do stuff that should only be left to a monster. Thats when I bought the USA1 Nitro Crusher. I wish I had gotten the Monster Blazer instead. Go with the Monster Blazer, it's fast and will run over anything. Go to this site: http://www.rcmonstertrucks.com/ofnablazer.html It shows the buildup of a Monster Blazer and if you go to his main page you can watch some vids of it.
