Im starting to lean torwards the RC10GT RTR... It comes with a .15 motor... for 279.00 I think it would be pretty kewl, also it has a hi-tec radio- I have a OLD hi-tec radio for my plane (like 89') and it still works!

And so no reverse? Any kit's available to make it reverse? Do these things just keep moving or do they go into Neutrual?

They have a clutch on the engine that lets it sit still. You adjust the brake so that there is a little brake applied when you let go of the throttle so it will hold still. As far as I know there is no reverse option for the gt. Kyosho has reverse on some of there gas cars and trucks though. But I would still go with the GT.

Oh yeah, if your still thinking about it, if you are looking for more of a monster, I would get the Ofna Monster Blazer. It is very well built and put a good engine in there and it's a blast.

There is no lifts for the GT, it's a stadium truck. It's built for jumping and speed. You can go bigger tires but your clutch will wear out and your gears will strip quickly. If you put a straight exhaust you really wouldn't have anyway of pressurizing your fuel system. There is a port on a tuned pipe that hooks to a fuel line that runs to your fuel tank. This puts the tank under pressure which pushes fuel into the engine. There pretty dang loud already with the stock pipe. But I'm sure there are louder ones out there. I plan on getting the New Era Models chassis for my GT and the .21 conversion.

The first one might be ok if you want something just for backyard bashing, but if you want something that hauls azz you would need to buy a diff. engine and such. And a better radio to make sure you keep control. The second one I have never used or seen used so I don't really have an opionion on it but I doubt there are much aftermarket parts available like the gt. It would prob. be faster out of the box than the first one you showed. Stadium trucks arent meant to have ground clearance, there suspensions are designed so they can take 8 foot jumps all day with no probs. Do you want something you can run real fast through the dirt and jump or something that can crawl over rocks and such? If you want something fast to play with in the dirt and street get a stadium truck, if you want to go out crawlin then get a monster. I use my ESP Zilla IV Clod to go rock crawlin with. My RC10GT for flat out speed and jumpin. And I did use my USA1 Nitro Crusher for higher speed rompin with a big ol truck. It could crawl and jump. But, since it's independent suspenion it doesn't articulate very well. The clod has solid axles which are much better. I am in the process of building a custom tube chassis for my A1 thats being built just for speed and jumping. My next project will be a custom tube frame clod and a centurion clod. I like my monsters to be as realistic to the real thing as possible. And I like to rock crawl with them and go out in the soft sand and stuff. But my favorite is rock crawling.

Glad to see someone up late like me. Umm, if you want something that will conquer anything and still be fast. I recomend the Ofna Monster Blazer. It's not too bad of price but you have to get an engine and radio. You can start out with a cheaper engine since you don't want to spend much plus you aren't experienced with nitros and they will be more forgiving and slightly slower. Then you can upgrade to a better engine such as the Ofna P8. And have a blast. A good 2 channel AM radio is around 60-80 bucks. I would def. recomend a monster truck though. Electric or Nitro. If going electric get a clod or a Juggernaut. The Jugg is better out of the box. If going Nitro get a USA1 Nitro or a Monster Blazer. I recomend the Blazer.
