Default New to the R/C world...

I am now the owner of a Duratrax R/C truck... it was free , and with a few new parts and some new tires I hope to have it running...

Anyone know anything about this one? http://www.duratrax.com/cars/dtxd60x1.html

Is this forum active at all?

Rock on man, you'll have many fun hours with it! I did with mine. Just make sure it has a Throttle return spring! A friend had an rc10gt, without one. Needless to say 30 mph, and a curb don't mix!

It does have a throttle return spring

I can't seem to get the steering or throttle servo's to work yet though... not sure if it is a radio signal issue or the PO simply killed both servo's...

I did get it running though - varooooom

I have the same truck. It really moves with the Duratrax tuned pipe kit. If you have the original radio that came with this truck, you may want to change the servos. I've had a lot of problems with the Hitec servos glitching after a year or so. I put in Futaba servos. You have to shave the tab off on the connectors with a razor knife so they'll fit in the RX.
