Tmax body on other r/c vehicles?

Has anyone tried putting a TMAXX body on a Losi XXT or on a HPI NitroMT? I know they are different scale, but I was thinking that it might actually look about right, tires not sticking out way past side of truck.

I want to get the CJ8 body and put it on one of my RC cars, but don't want to spend the money and cut up a body if it won't work.
