Default Newbie Here

Ok, i am thinking about getting an RC car, which would be a first for me. i think i want a 4x4 truck if they make one, i am not even sure if they do or not. should i get nitro or electric? what brands would be good for me? anywebsites i should check out? any help or info would be appreciated, thanks.

For a first RC vehicle, I would go with an electric, because they are much simpler to work on and tune. Tamiya makes great kits for most beginners. Nitro is faster and has longer run times, yet it more expensive. Try these web sites: www.towerhobbies.com

www.rccaraction.com
they all have good information, and the two sites which are retailers have some of the best prices in the industry.
