Yeah, thats one of the things I already tried. Thanks for all the help though. I am going to give a call or email to novak. I only ran 2 packs worth through the thing. It's less than 2 months old. And 1.5 of those months was when I was moving so it just sat. Anyway, what I think I might try to do is get them to either waranty it and send me another or maybe talk them into me getting two roosters instead of the one super rooster and me just pay the difference. Then I can run one 2200mah sticks on each speed control and control each motor seperately. I think my 4400mah pack and 17t saphires might have been to much for the esc. You think? It never got real hot. Anyway, here are some pics of my clod:

Update! I got the ESC working! All is well now, except I still have that pesky hurky jurky radio thingy. I think it's just the cheap am receiver picking up way to much interference. I still want that R-1.

good looking clod! glad you got it working. I would stay away from two speed controls. I've heard of a couple of people doing it, but it is very hard on the drive train. If you have two batteries that are not perfectly matched, one will run down before the other and start putting the entire truck in a bind. Anyway, glad you got it working!

Well, I think now that it's working I will just stick with the single Super Rooster. But, my truck is still jurking all over the place like it used to, I need a new radio. Someday I will actually get to drive my clod and have fun with it.

Try putting a reciever battery pack in your truck. I had a friend's clod with 17T sapphires do the same jerky throttle thing. We plugged a battery pack with 4 AA size batteries in it into the reciever and it works fine now.
