im confused (e-maxx)

well, i bought my e-maxx about 2 weeks ago. it has the new EVX and all, well myfriend bought his today, suposed to be the same truck, but his engines make alot more winding noise than mine do. is there something wrong withh mine/his?? or is this normal.

check yours and his gear mesh. that could be kaking the winding noise.
