I just took the usa-1 out of the shed (been hibernating for a good 8years)!! Anyhow, I'm trying to talk the wife into letting me get a nitro t-maxx (aint working!!)and thought that this might be fun to jack with for a while.I'm wanting to find longer tierods and such so I can make the thing steer right and get my toe in to look better...The front and rear both are needing adjusted and the rod ends just arent sturdy enough with that little bit of thread stuck in there!! Can you find aluminum hop up parts for the things, or are they outdated? I really want to make a crawler, what kit out there should I really look for, that t-maxx just looks awesome, but like I said up front, it's been a loooong time since i've played with these toys!!
It's as close to a 1ton as it can get and still be a jeep!!! Gotta love it!!
Lol, yeah, mines NitroUSA1. I don't post to terribly often. But I have some projects. For some reason I can't buy stuff, I have this weird urge to build my own. Right now I'm designing a cnc machined ladder frame for my clod. I mostly do rock crawling with my clod so I need something with lots of flex. And my Zilla IV chassis rubs too much when flexed creating too much drag on the motors.
I'm building a crawler too, just mine out of the Jugg2. I got an Engle tranny in it and right now its only geared to bash around. I want to make a chassis to put the gearbox lower and to get more travel out of the suspension. See you on the boards
