Serres Rally 2014

Serres Rally 2014 is now written in the history books, leaving the riders and crew with the best memories of a fantastic Rally, which the winner was decided on the very last day of the rally.

The riders enjoyed seven days of head-to-head battles with beautiful scenery, stunning mountaintops, hidden paths, rain, mud, beautiful lakes and trails, which they could not imagine.

The overall winner for 2014 was the Italian #4 Andrea Cosensino who had the perfect race. Andrea had many of battles with all the top riders in the race but no one could match his perfect riding style. #4 - Cosentino finshed the race in a total time of 26:33:59.

2nd place went to another Italian #51 Ciotti Filippo who tried all of the 7 days to beat his rival finishing on the tail of #4 Andrea Cosentino and missing out on first place by only 4:09 minutes.

Third was the youngster from the Netherlands and first time at Serres Rally, #34 Robert Van Pelt. No one doubted his talent and showed he was very fast in every stage of the Serres Rally finishing in 3rd position and hoping next year for the top spot.

The Portuguese rider #5 Pedro Bianchi-Prata had a lot of technical problems during the 7 days but fought them off to finish 4th overall.

5th in the over standings was #7 Sandro Calesini who fought head to head with all the top riders and as #5 Pedro Bianchi-Prata was every close to getting on the podium, he just missed out on 3rd in his catergory.

Category Winners were as follows: C Class #51 Ciotti Filippo, A Class and Veteran Class #14 Massimo Prazzoli, Women Class #17 Patsy Quick, C3 Big On-Off Class #82 Alessio Corradini, B Class #4 Andrea Cosentino and Buggies #100 Josef Machacek.

All riders had a great time at the Serres Rally 2014 and the weather conditions made the event perfect for the rally. There were smiles all around after every special stage and for sure, many riders will be back next year ready for another 7 days of rally madness.

Planning for the Serres Rally 2015 has already begun. New dates are finalized, so the 5th edition of Serres Rally has been scheduled for August 23-29, giving everyone the possibility to combine the race with family for the perfect holiday in Serres and the Elpida Resort!.

Fantastic routes that will take the riders through beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers and the coast of Northern Greece.

We would like to give the opportunity to all Rally enthusiasts to live the passion of the race from another perspective.

This will be a very good opportunity for different kinds of riders:
Those who are not ready to participate in a race yet, participantsí friends, and all riders who would like to explore the beauties of Greece riding their own bikes. Any kind of bike! Light Enduro bikes, big bi-cylinder On-Off or even Quads!

The area is very well known by us and we have vast experience of organizing big events.

We can prepare -and promise- the fun factor of the participants in this tour. Our target is to make the riders enjoy the ride and see the race from the inside track.

Our goal, after 2015 Raid Tour, is to organize for the year after, another one on May 2016 in Peloponnese giving more options to the riders. Stay tuned for more info!
