I re-read all your messages on this post and no
where did you say what you had. (sorry).
So by your last post I will asume you are running low
profile 5/8" bumpstops. You can buy ultra low profile
1/4" bumpstops. crank your torsions up and it will
give you another 1/2" to 3/4". As far as bigger lifts
nobody makes one. poeple could make you one but it
would be all custom and you said "no custom"
so "no bigger lifts".
You could re-position or modify your upper stop plates or just cut them off. but I wouldn't do that til you get your ball joint situation figured out. Some company's make raised spindles for chevys and ford. If they ever decide to make them for our tucks we'd both be set.
Like I said in my last post go with "moog" ball
joints. I have been very pleased with mine. Make sure
you paint them before you install them.

You wouldn't happen to have pictures or a web-site would you? I have a 91 toyota 2wd that is lifted a few inches, but I didn't do it, so I wanted to compare yours to mine. I think that mine is Fabtech, cuz all the lift stuff is bright blue, but none of says Fabtech that I can find. Thanks for any help. Latez, Justin
The guy you need to talk to is Jim Conner. He's the MAN when it comes to Nissans. Nobody else does much with them. His company used to be Jim Conner Racing (it might be still) and he was the factory Nissan builder when they were still in OR racing. He's in Arizona now and I don't have his info here at work but you can find him on the internet through the race org sites, or, if your interested I'll get back to you with it.
Thanks for all the info guys, but the front suspension on my truck is done now. I hane the fabtech arms, the balljoint spacers, and also have custom milled balljoints. The balljoints help fix all the problems. Now im going to do a spring over conversion to get more clearance and some lift. and in the future i will switch out to a better axle in the rear. thanks again for all the info.
I also have a Nissan 2wd and am trying to do the prerunner thing. Unfortunately the current kit you have is about all the lift you will get without going to a custom front suspension. I have Fabtech ball joint spacers and rear add a leaves and the torsion bars turned almost all the way up. I have not had any problems with ball joint wear. The balljoint spacers do the same thing the aftermarket upper a-arms do, correct the angle when you crank up the torsion bars to allow alignment of the front end. My tires still rub a little. for some reason donahoe racing is not working
Spencer low racing (SLR) is specifically nissan stuff. They can custom make upper a-arms for about $360. I am planning on making a lower arms similar to the totalchaos kit for myself and having SLR make me 3 inch longer upper a-arms. The problem the Nissan 2wd has is its not a true upper and lower a-arms suspension on the front. The tension rod (the one that goes diagonal from the front of the frame to the lower link) is the limiting factor. Ever notice how many Toyota 2wd kits are available. Even custom kits for Toyotas are plentiful, and some of them have a lot of travel. I do go mudding (yes in a 2wd) but there are some rough back roads with some decent jumps and I need more travel to handle them. I have jumped the truck and tapped the fender with the front wheels so more travel and maybe fiberglass fenders are in order. I know we would both like a really cool bolt on kit but you are looking at just under $2000 for one. That is just a little more than I want to spend on a front suspension. If you do find anything else let us know.
I have not been able to find lift spindles for my 89 p/u either so if you or anyone knows where I can get some let us all know.

I was just looking through prerunner stuff and seen your post . I had the same problem . So me and my brother started to build a set from scratch . If we can get it down packed we are going to put it on the market . When done it should be 6 inches wider and have 11 to 12 inches of travel . It is a big change over but we are trying to make it all bolt up . So its taking a little time . But if you wait a little longer it should be out soon . The price for the arm should be pretty cheap .
