Post honda TRX 700 or 450?

okay guys this is my first time using a forum..i am leaving for iraq in like 4 days but i still have some questions.. i have a 2008 trx 700xx and i just bought a 2007 trx 450r for my wife. however she likes the 700 better.. i just wanted to know what yall thought about which one i could make the fastest. the 700 is crazy powerfull but the 450 is pretty damn fast 2. also what can i do to beef either one up. once i come back from iraq money wont really be an issue. i just want to have a sick bike.. thanks for allyour help...

New there was only about $1,000 diff, so you can probably find used ones and their parts for about the same price. To make it "faster", you'll probably find more aftermarket stuff for the 450R, and since it's about 100 lbs lighter, you will likely find more results with similar changes.

But if she likes the ride and fit of the 700 better, that counts for something and going slightly faster probably won't change that.

And unless you are planning to race, why exactly do you need either to be faster?

(And God Speed to you in Iraq - stay safe, come home and play off-road with us.)

yeah she deff likes the 700 better due to the suspension in the rear. its so much smoother.. but if you had the 450R what would you put into it to beef it up. i know the easy stuff like new header, silencer and i heard to go one sprocket tooth lower in the front.. just let me know what you would do! lol Thanks for your time and your help..
