Default Can you help me with my 1991 Honda 250X?

This is my first post on this forum.I bought a 1991 250X last summer and it's my first atv.It already had a UNI filter and I put on a FMF full system exhaust.I'm currently having problems with what I think is carb issues.I've looked alll over and it seems that no one makes a jet kit for this machine.I got a Moose brand carb rebuild kit.It came with some o rings,a needle,a couple jets(stock size),needle seats, etc, etc. How should I set this up?I want to know proper jet sizes, needle clip position, etc.I'm about 750 ft above sea level.I went to the FMF website and they were of no help.Last summer I was having some starting and running issues and I made some adjustments to the carb and then it would only stay running when the choke was in the hot start position. When it was running,it was fouling the plug and bogging about mid range rpm.I got tired of fixing all the previous owners "repairs" so I bought a 2007 AC DVX400.I don't want to sell the 250;because I wouldn't get out what I have in it.Can you help?
