Former US Marine.

Now I'm a line worker (line guy, line rat, ramp rat, ramp guy, hey you, even the occasional "sir", whatever they feel like calling me) at www.RapidAirService.com at the Gerald R Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, MI. I clean aircraft, fuel aircraft, move aircraft, load and unload aircraft, schedule aircraft rental and charters, the occasional light maintenance on aircraft (little stuff, mainly adding oil and air to the tires, occasionally a light bulb or two), and just generally anything around the ramp, hangars, and offices the owners, pilots, mechanics, and flight instructors don't want or are to lazy to do. Not a bad job, pay is okay and it keeps me in aviation. Also gets me a discount on my flight lessons and aircraft rental. I took my first flight lesson on Thursday! Wooohoooo!!!!!
