any one know if a 253 Holden V8 will fit in a 1980 720 ????
(Aussie Holden = GM)the 253 is a small block V8similar in design to the 308

their site lists kits to fit the GM/Holden 6's, and 8's using tghe GM 700R4 tranny - but they claim the V8's will have clearane issues, etc.

You can make anything fit with a torch and a welder

I agree with Nissan King, with a torch, a welder, and a little imagination anything will fit.
I put a 4.3 Chevy V-6 in my 84 720 4x4 and had to use the welder alot.
