Default Scout hard start after warm

Hi I am new on the forum and could not find a similar thead. I got a cold beer in clearwater beach for any help here.
I got a 1966 scout with a 152 that is basically stock. I have the 1304 single carb and I just upgraded dist with no points and a better coil, only installed to try to corect problem. the carb is rebuilt and clean. All new tune up parts. It starts great cold and runs good. but after its warmed up it starts like its flooded. I need to turn it over for 30 sec with the pedal to the floor untill it finally starts. The choke is open. When it starts it will only rev in very low rpm untill it burns off extra gas then be fine. The float seems to work correctly but some how it seems to me that it gets flooded out as soon as you shut it down and try to start. like gas just got dump down the intake. What am I doing wrong?
