Just wanted to introduce myself with a quick post and say that I've already learned a lot from searching various topics on the website.

I sold my 1991 Quigley XLT 4x4 a few years ago and have regretted not having it around camping and basic utility use, but I actually don't miss the 10-12 mpg and filling up the tanks at $4.00 plus per gallon here in San Diego.

So I went another route, and last month I bought a one owner 1987 E150 XL SWB (124") XL in Seattle and drove it home to San Diego. It has the 4.9 liter six with FI, a manual 3-speed + OD transmission, and 3.55 LSD differential.

Who knows, maybe it'll grow up to be a 4x4.
