Default NMRO

Where on the world wide web could I find current NMRO class rules? Their web site just has an e-mail address. Are the class rules voted on or changed annually? Any info is appreciated. THANKS in advance!!

They used to publish the rules on the familyevents.com site, but not anymore. Try the "register for events" link & see if they'll send you a set. I don't believe they have a meeting to change rules per say, but there's no doubt that they could change it up quite a bit again. Class III is now more a "Pro Stock" class while it used to be a true "Super Stock" class. Problem there is that class IV used to be "Pro Stock" until they made it "Modified". And I agree that the "Modified" guys needed their own class, but maybe they could have eliminated one of the "Pro Modified" classes (V & VI) instead of killing off "Pro Stock". At any rate, with no place for the "Pro Stock" guys, they've been letting more & more slide in "Super Stock" for several years & last year they totally hosed it up.

Hey guys, don't give up on Special Events quite yet! You know they own NMRO now, right? If you go back to the site, scroll down to the lower left hand corner of the opening page of www.familyevents.com and right above the "contact us" link is a link to a PDF download of the current rules. Just point and click! See ya.

Unless I'm sadly mistaken, they review the rules each year to cover anything that pops up during the previous season of mud racing. You know us racers, always looking for that loophole!
