Forest, Miss. November 14 & 15 + Tough Trucks

Southern Monster Truck Showdown will be returning to the Scott County Coliseum in Forest, MS on November 14 & 15, 2008.

There is also a tough truck contest scheduled, open to all interested parties and the term "truck" is used lightly, actually you can enter any vehicle less than a 1 ton.

Track for tough trucks includes dirt bumps and mounds, nothing too severe and one mud pit, which is more of a "splash zone" than any kind of bog. By the way, don't sit too close to the mud pit, last time the monsters sprayed the crowd when they ran through it, much to the delight of the youngsters sitting on the first few rows - it was labeled "Caution, if you sit in this area, you may get muddy!" (They had intentionally camped out in this section with those hopes and the monster truck drivers made it awesome for them!)
