Ya, he is a good guy. I have a unimog-nissan hybrid in the works, and I have gotten most of my parts from the 2 importers/dealers in my club. They are both quite nice, and have no problem throwing something in the back of their trucks in the containers (that is how my frame actually got over here, in the back of 2 other unimogs!)

Hey Devinchi
I've actually been to your page - thats gonna be a neat rig! ( I'm using a Nissan case in my Niva, so I picked up your thread from the Nissan BBS.)

you and I are going to have to hook up, and go wheeling some time - my 'other' rig is an experimental 6x6 Land Rover, w/ Mercedes powertrain. ( 90:1 geared auto, when I get done) It'd be interesting to see how the 2 rigs compare re: gearing, and abilities. hows the assembly going, btw?

ciao
Chris

Well...so far so good. my drivetrain will be all unimog, except for the engine. So i'll have a 112:1 crawl. 6x6 land rover....interesting, my other rig is a range rover.

I am updating the Unissamog web page sometime today with a new stack of pics...and after my trash run tomorrow, I will most likely be pullin the Nissan's bed and starting the real work.

EDIT: I have now updated the site. http://fareast4x4.com/tech/mog.html
