Re: The BMW Suv Rocks!!!

i would say that it is far from the term "rocks". almost any of the new suv's in that style (MB, Infinity, BMW, etc) are nothing more than awd minivans with a tiny bit more ground clearance and some more agressive plastic glued to them. they may look nice and it may haul a family around fine, but i can't say that it rocks.(and it certainly will not ever see rocks)

Re: The BMW Suv Rocks!!!

Yeah that IRS really rocks and so do those low profile tires! NOT! Sure it is, what, the best handling SUV on the road? But that won't get it very far off-road. But I'm sure it will do fine in the snow/inclement weather which is probably what most people buy it for, not to mention the "image". Yeah like I really look up to them!

Re: The BMW Suv Rocks!!!

Actually the Infinity is based on the Pathfinder so it has a solid rear axle. At least it has the "potential" to do decently off-road.

Just like the rest, a jacked-up station wagon.

Yea I agree what a piece of crap I saw one at a gas station the other day the tires on it looked like they were off of a sports car not something that you would see on an off road vehicle.

All of the SUVs in this class are ment for nothing more than to get Yuppies up to the ski slopes in style with out getting stuck in the parking lot.

One word: Poo! that is what these, I can't belive i am saying this, SUV's are. they don't even deserve to be in the same calss a a GMC or Chevy. When BMW has a Baja truck or when people start making lifts for the Mercedes large station wagon then they might get my approval.
